Natasha Richardson. I watched Blow Dry recently and felt really sad when I realized that both leads Richardson and Alan Rickman are already deceased. Rickman at least died at a relatively advanced age, but Richardson definitely went too early.

I'd be much more concerned with saving friends who died young (luckily I've not had any family members who died young).

I'd be much more concerned with saving friends who died young (luckily I've not had any family members who died young). I figured some would say that, which is why I was more descriptive, otherwise there'd be a ton of historical figures (JFK, FDR, etc).

Steve McQueen James Dean Tyrone Power Yul Brynner (if you saw his public service announcement about smoking I think a lot of people would think twice of picking up a cigarette)

I saw River Phoenix and Ethan Hawke in their first film, EXPLORERS (1985), and was just blown away by them. I wrote in a journal that I was sure they would become " big" in the acting world. I was following Phoenix' career more closely and when he died, it felt like a personal loss. A kid who made stupid personal choices that probably no one could have changed. Like another boy actor with such potential who loved fast cars. We have more of Phoenix but it's just not enough. I wanted to see him play a husband and a dad and never will. It still makes me sad when I watch him on screen. Such a waste !
