Like deembastille , The Big Bang Theory (and progeny) would make that list for me. I remain baffled at its success. (I must confess that I retain a liking for the goofy Flying Nun…) I think many of the remakes of classics shouldn’t have been greenlit in the first place—that remake of The Munsters with Eddie Izzard comes to mind. (I still have shudders from forcing myself to watch five minutes of that…) I also can’t stand just about anything soap opera-esque, or any “reality show,” or any game show except for Jeopardy… Wow, do I sound like a curmudgeon! Seriously, though, what many look for in television (especially modern TV) and what I look for in television seem to be dead-opposite. I pretty much watch Turner Classics, the weather, the news (usually CBS), MeTV, and History when there’s something decent (not the soap-operatics of, say, the execrable Pawn Stars) on… Well, I was classified as a young fogey once!

A pity it's not just a list. Catman don't have the patience to sit through that.

What do you think of the shows in the video? I came across it by accident on youtube and it brought back some interesting memories. Some good, some not.

While I liked the show... I don't know how the hell Hogan's Heroes ever got made. - "So...they're prisoners of war.... in a Nazi camp.....and it's a comedy."

The woman at 17:27 actually showed her boobs on national tv? I/m pretty sure that was edited out in the original broadcast. I think that woman was Jaye P. Morgan BTW but can't say for sure.
