Look, in ten years I made $100 from youtube (mainly a beached whale video I posted), but I'm an amateur experimental filmmaker and I'd like to think the hundreds of hours I spend behind a camera and at the editing console and post on YouTube providing them FREE content, that I should at least being given the respect of earning my $100 each year for my devotion the the arts! But now I get this message: As a result of changes to the YouTube Partner Program requirements, your channel is currently no longer eligible for monetization.YouTube has changed their policy, and unless I have 1,000 s. ubscribers in a couple week to plead my case, they'll take away my chance to earn even a meager stipend. So I'm asking that you help me out subscribe to my channel. It's up to you. It's a random assortment of weird movies I've made. Nothing violent. Nothing sexual (mostly . no really mostly) and hopefully some fun stuff. A guy who turns 60 in two months and has been making movies since he was ten would appreciate any gestures of faith from the SHF. The dreaded Feather Duster Theater channel. www.youtube.com/channel/UCFlNgjJgU52kDrnvEd-ivGw(subscribe links seems to be here. I've never pandered before) One of my more popular videos (which I am no longer getting paid for. Originally had Frank Crumit's 1926 ukulele ditty "Show Me the way to go Home" as a backdrop which was great, but someone copyright claimed it and I had to strip it off). This was my biggest hit. 50,000 hits in one day. When the original Amazon Echo commercial came out, I re-edited it and put a new soundtrack on it that night and I experienced my only "viral." Thanks for helping.
