In the MCU, Wakanda is known to be an impoverished nation in Africa. MCU world maps show Wakanda’s location. Although fiercely isolationist, the Wakandan government even has UN representation. How does the outside world know who the Wakandan king is? The Wakandan government told them. Duh! I mean, it’s not like Wakanda is an invisible island that no one even knows exists ... in the middle of the busy shipping lanes of the Mediterranean ... where ships have just missed it for centuries ... until a German ship, pursuing an airplane, wanders into it. (BTW, how does a ship intercept and pursue an airplane? I thought the Amazonians were the only ones with magic boats.) You really need to stop trying to nit-pick THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE OF ALL TIME!Particularly after you spent so much time telling everyone that it is THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE OF ALL TIME!Wonder Woman's moment in the limelight was tragically brief ... and it’s failure to get nominated for even one Acadamy Award, in any category, must be quite humiliating for you. Seems someone wasn't paying attention in the movies. Seems someone wasn't paying attention in this thread. DC-Fan proved conclusively that the MCU's continuity is absolutely in tatters. Therefore, the MCU must be rebooted and made to be more like the DCEU, which has shown nothing but incredible discipline, stunningly keen attention to detail, congruence with fan expectations, and top-tier direction and cinematography. Innit? |

For someone who hates the MCU you sure do put a lot of thought into them He knows absolutely everything about every MCU movie, he must rewatch them all of the time just so he can find new flaws in them. Pretty damn sad. He watches each MCU movie frame by frame, at least 10 times within the first day of the bootleg copy's first appearance online. I doubt whether the biggest MCU fans have ever demonstrated such devotion to the cause.  And yet despite his obvious love for the MCU, he continues to criticize the greatest superhero movie of all time, after, on many occasions, insisting that people shouldn't be finding fault with Wonder Woman (the former greatest superhero movie of all time) because of it's position at the top of the Rotten Tomatoes charts. Highly hypocritical, I think you will agree?  |

I remember when no one knew China existed or who the leaders were until Nixon visited there. There was just a black hole on maps everywhere. Everyone knew China existed. Remember that the British had a 99-year lease on Hong Kong and the Portuguese had a lease on Macau starting in the 16th century. Everyone knows Wakanda exists. Seriously. They just think it is a third world isolationist country. They explained this so many times I am pretty sure you didn't see the movie. That is why they had the fake tents and tribes set up around the forest perimeter and they say the forest is pretty much impenetrable. It is all a cover. Everyone still knows the country exists, it is the advancements in technology that have been hidden. Pay attention. |
