We’ll, yes, I am ashamed of those particular comics because they were bad. So, you’re right. Even Chris Claremont thought it was a bad idea. So, they get married and then what happens? Storm becomes a supporting player in T’Challa’s book? Eh, Sue Storm wasn't a supporting member of the FF just because she was married to Reed. Of course, this would mean making all the BP stories more of a team up of the two rather than be primarily about him. But are you ashamed of HALKEYES HELLMET?

Nope, just think it looks stupid to transfer that from the comics to a real-looking archer. How about robin hood's hat instead? ;-)

Of course, this would mean making all the BP stories more of a team up of the two rather than be primarily about him. It's a question of who gets top billing. Ororo or T'Challa? Would they have a new book together where they are featured as a duo under a new name? Do they operate out of the US or Wakanda? T'Challa's first priority is keeping Wakanda safe and Ororo, as an X-Man, has an almost intergalactic peace-keeping scope. They'd be the power couple that never gets to see each other because of their busy schedules. One of them would have to make sacrifices or give up their affiliation for the marriage to work. Would Storm have to stay in Wakanda at T'challa's side all of the time? The council would expect her to. The Black Panther can't go running around the galaxy and spending too much time away from Wakanda to help his wife with X-Men missions. It was a pairing that sounding good on paper but, it was never going to work in practice. Claremont makes some excellent points about them having children as well. Check it out...
