No. Some of BP’s success is due to the fact that massive amounts black people are watching it. IW has BP in it so they’ll go to watch that too, in theory.
I think it will be close but IW will just beat it.

I agree with Power Ranger...BP has brought in a new audience, most of whom probably hadn't seen Marvel movies before. I would imagine with Wakanda playing a prominent role in IW, they'll want to see that as well. |

A big chunk of this movie is going to take place in Wakanda, and at the end of the credits for BP the last thing seen was "Black Panther Will Return in Avengers: Infinity War." I guarantee while not every black person who saw BP will show up for IW, it's going to be more than it would have been without this movie. |

It’s a natural booster laced with the mutagenic properties of vibranium. The only black guy in the Avengers is a half of a cripple in a hand-me-down suit (who was infamously recast). T’Challa could incentivize more black people who were on the fence about another Avengers movie with a purple dude in it.
