Think about it this way. If you save the models, pixels can be doubled one day - maybe in a special edition. Bad makeup? That’s forever. A special edition!? SPECIAL EDITION?!?!?!?!? As a Star Wars fan the words Special Edition are blasphemy. I'm a strong believer that movies should NEVER be altered after release. Also, good FX never age. See King Kong '33 or Space Oddessy Also, why do you assume the makeup would be bad? Drax isn't CG is he? Tell me: if Drax had been CGI would you be making this same defense of that? Ha ha, it was a joke! Apparently Akbars can’t see all traps. 😎 |
