Three more male names I like: Tristan, Harry, and Mohammed.
Three more female names I like: Elizabeth, Florence and Lerin (a very rare name held only by a few dozen American women born in the late-1970s/early-1980s....they were named after a short-lived cosmetics brand).

I don't have any fave male names at the moment.
My fave girls names have always been Serena and Lucy because as a child I became a huge fan of Sailor Moon and I Love Lucy.
I also love the names Shani and Jeannie.

Kara is probably my favourite female name. I think it’s most likely due to watching the movie Supergirl (1984) when I was younger and getting a crush on Helen Slater’s Kara/Supergirl. I’ve been fond of the name ever since (though only when it’s pronounced like it was in the movie, as ‘Car-ra’ rather than ‘Care-ra’).

men: Seth (because of Seth in From Dusk Till Dawn) Benjamin (because of Benjamin Braddock from the Graduate) Logan (duh) Ellio (Call me by your Name) Roger (Amazon and Swallows) Robin (Christopher Robin as well as Robin Hood) Milo - because of the dog in The Mask Avery - because of Avery in the Zodiac women: Elaine (The Graduate is one of my all time favourite movies yes Nora (call me crazy but I actually really like my name) Newt - (Aliens) Ripley (duh) I have a friend who named her daughter Vivianne because of Pretty Woman. Poor girl never saw the movie, all she knows is she was named after a hooker . I was trying to convince her to see the movie, to know there is more to it than her being a prostitute anyone else here crazy enough to name their kid after a movie character, or the characters dog?

That could give anyone a bad complex 🙁. she is the most bad ass and wonderful woman though. doctor of pathology (coroner?) who does kick-boxing (and is really good in it) and is pretty, smart, funny AND a nice person. when does that ever happen, right? she is the best version of vivianne there could ever be, in my book
