Belichick probably berated him for describing the Minnesota weather as "freezy freezy." Gronk needs freedom to talk how he wants.

Gronk will probably retire and join the WWE.

I've heard him linked to the E, more for a one off match than a full time thing.

I'm betting that the Garoppolo trade has something to do with it.

The local guys were stirring this up yesterday. They need to give the fans something to talk about during the offseason. Gronk will be back next year. Unfortunately Dion Lewis will be gone so they'll have to make up for his productivity somehow.
What's odd to me is that the local guys are presenting this as some kind of panic scenario. Gronk misses half of every season with injuries and the Pats won the Super Bowl without him two years ago. I love Gronk and he's a hell of a weapon but he isn't the difference in whether the Pats go to the Super Bowl or not.
Ah yes, the team was rotting from within according to that ESPN article and people on this board were suggesting Belichick was telling his assistants to go elsewhere after the season because he was so fed up-- then the Patriots went to the Super Bowl (again), Belichick is still here and he and Kraft convinced Josh McDaniels to stay in NE instead of bolting for Indy. What a disaster behind the scenes with this organization!

What a disaster behind the scenes with this organization! Is Dion Lewis going to be a free agent? Losing him will hurt the Pats, he’s solid, but I’m sure they can find another RB to take his place. I think Gronk will be back and the whole shit about the Pats being in inner turmoil is overblown, but I’m still wondering if people are pissed at Belichick for benching Butler in the Super Bowl, I sure as hell would be, there is no excuse for that, it was a huge factor in the defense getting decimated by Foles and the Eagles, I bet people in the organization are livid with him for it and rightfully so.
