I've tried KFC in both countries and really think KFC in the UK is a lot better than its US counterpart. There are far better options for fried chicken in the US.

I've tried KFC in both countries and really think KFC in the UK is a lot better than its US counterpart. There are far better options for fried chicken in the US. I find it's mixed in the UK. Some places it is really good, and when it is good it is really good, but some shops it don't taste right. I think their employees don't follow the instructions correctly, like fry it too long or cook the chicken from frozen or something, I don't know, but I reckon their heart's not in it any more, maybe they've become a bit jaded with the world, or just got too comfortable, too cocky even, and veered off the Colonels instructions. The cheap knock off places though (like Tasty Fried Chicken or Delicious Fried Chicken or whatever) are almost always absolutely disgusting in Britain.
