Depends on who is writing, BP has defeated the Silver Surfer in hand to hand combat, I think he may have even fucked up Hulk & Galactus at some point, but he's got his arse kicked whilst wearing the infinity gauntlet, so all depends on the writing.
Theoretically yes he could, I mean if Batman can then so could T'Challa given the right amount of resources & preparation, but just as a baseline BP Vs. Baseline Superman then no, not even close.

Isn't that how it usually goes with the comics? The writer always comes up with some bullshit way for one hero to one up someone who is greatly more powerful than him. Hmm, could Superman slow poke T'Challa in the chest? His suit absorbs the energy hitting it. But if someone with super strength just pokes him without the kinetic energy, would the vibranium register it?

True but that was kind of my point in hopes we eliminate the "but he beat Galactus so of course he can beat Superman" aruing these types of threads get into, do away with the insane PIS wins and focus more on should BP be capable of beating them, which is why I said about if were meant to buy Batman can take them out then so should BP and more easily due to his powers if given the same chance to prepare for it.
But you are right even Batman fighting Superman makes no sense, sure Batman can build a suit that could put up a fight, and if using kryptonite he can weaken Superman but Superman can think and move faster than humans can perceive things so Superman can kill Batman before Batman even realised Superman had turned his sights on him.
