As stewards force Arsenal fans to stay and watch the whole game.

I think Wenger is finally finished. I've never said that before. Just something was different, the half empty stadium, the subdued crowd, getting walloped again, I think all that combined sends a big statement, I just can't see him still being at Arsenal next season, his position is now untenable. Thing is in any previous season, it always seemed like far more of a risk to get rid of him than it was to keep him (looking at it from the perspective of the owners), because he brings CL football every year. Okay granted, he finished 5th last season, but with no CL distractions it always seemed that he had every chance of getting them back in the top 4 this season. But Arsenal have drifted even further away now, despite playing their reserves in the Europa, so Wenger really has no excuses left. And for the first time the board have got nothing to lose by getting rid. Unlikely they can do even worse with a new guy now, and even if they did do worse it wouldn't be a big deal given the position they are in now. And you also got to look at it, City's allocation in the stadium was full, which tells you Arsenal fans could have got to the game if they really wanted to, but there is clearly apathy within the Arsenal fanbase which is the last thing owners want, with season ticket renewals coming up, empty stadiums look bad when it comes to sponsorship. Maybe the only thing that can possibly save Wenger is winning the Europa Cup. Be interesting to see if Arsenal fans will actually want to get knocked out, which would surely, surely be the final nail in the coffin. Me, I'd like to see Wenger get an extension, he deserves it, and it should be him and only him who decides when he goes!

Arsene will go in the summer. Either upstairs or completely.

They'll bring up moving on with him (possibly for the first time in his Arsenal career) and he'll finally grasp that he doesn't get to leave on his own terms and he'll beg for one more season... and they'll give it to him.
