Slate's columnist for "Dear Prudence" has just come out as being trans. The advice columnist and author of Texts from Jane Eyre has just posted... 'turns out I'm trans.' as if she thought she had colon cancer but it was just the runs.
Figures. Not that she's transgender but her reaction to it. Often times the advice she gives on her column is not as accurate or PC as it could be. In fact, there was (Haven't seen it lately) a post section similar to Disqus and many people oust Mallory on her sometimes rude responses to people who really do have huge problems.
Of course, the #firstworldproblem posts get sage advice...
