I mean all he did was tank to a degree more than others have tanked. If he was able to be the one to use all those draft picks then we’d know. All he himself has to show for it is Embiid. I think some of the great coaches are the ones you can consider geniuses. Bill Walsh, Greg Popovich, Bill Belichick, Dougie P.

Hinkie was upfront and honest with the fanbase stating it was not going to be 1 or 2 years of tanking but multiple miserable seasons - and the hardcore fanbase stuck by 'The Process'. His 'Process' should be taught in MBA classes. Sometimes in life change is needed and you need to strip everything down to bare bones and start over. Gain assets. Then in turn - swap those assets for future assets. Then in turn swap those assets for more future assets. Hinkie = GOD!

This is exactly what Danny Ainge did with the Celtics with the KG/Pierce trade to the Nets, yet the Celtics only had to endure one terrible season.

But - do they have 2 generational Superstars like Embiid/Simmons? I like Irving. Like Tatum and Brown. Like Hayward. Not being a homer - but going forward - I'd rather be in the Sixers shoes than the Celts.

No one can touch Einstein.
Most physicists go their entire career without writing a revolutionary paper.
Einstein wrote FOUR in one year ( 1905 )

What about the inventor of the sandwich itself, John M onta gu (4th Earl of Sandwich)? He's the OG of sandwich!

I have a soft spot for Napoleon. I read his biography not long ago and I was impressed by how wide and deep his knowledge was in so many different areas. He probably couldn't come up with the theory of relativity, but then I don't think Einstein could manage an empire, either.

I see where you're coming from, but I can't agree with you until the Sixers start making noise in the playoffs on a consistent basis. And our teams could collide come playoff time this year!

And this is kind of what I'm talking about with recent posts in the past about 'Division Pride' and hoping (not rooting for) your rivals are good. It should be fun/great times ahead for a Sixers/Celts War in the years to come.......

If I had a time machine, one of my stops would be to observe Napoleon's snowball fight as a student at Brienne.

In history, me, of course. even over the inventor of the 'Pizza Steak'? think about it. basically taking a cheesesteak (but substituting mozz cheese - pizza cheese on top) and putting pizza sauce on top as well - feel free to add your favorite toppings too
