I'm not referring to their barbaric and savage way of choosing a leader. I'm referring to:
1. Wakanda not sharing their medical technology/procedures with the rest of the world. I can understand not wanting to share your weapons with the rest of the world. But when you have medical technology/processes that can heal people and save many, many lives, it's really despicable to not share that with the rest of the world.
2. Wakanda sends their spies to spy on other countries so it's not like Wakanda is in a bottle (like Kandor) and isn't aware of what's happening in the rest of the world. So Wakanda was fully aware of Hitler and the Nazis but even though Wakanda had the technology and the weapons to defeat the Nazis quickly and end the war and save millions of lives, Wakanda did nothing and just allowed the Nazis to take over most of Europe and kill millions of people. That's really despicable.
What if the Nazis had developed the atomic bomb first? Would Wakanda, supposedly with their advanced weapons, just do nothing while the Nazis use the atomic bomb to win the war?

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Too bad it has no bearing on the (subjective) artistic merit of the film.

DC Fan brings up some good points. Seems like we're supposed to enjoy the movie for what's on the surface, and we're not supposed to think too hard about the details. That's not necessarily a bad thing because there are a lot of movies I like for what's on the surface alone. Still...interesting points. It’s ok to be a fanboy, but to say someone like DC-Fan has good points just because they like the same movies as you is too much.

What if the Nazis had developed the atomic bomb first? Would Wakanda, supposedly with their advanced weapons, just do nothing while the Nazis use the atomic bomb to win the war? For two years after WWII started the USA was fully aware of the Nazis and Hitler and didn't enter the war. In fact USA only entered after Pearl Harbour and the Axis powers declared war on THEM. They had resources that would have helped end the conflict. That was reality not a comic book. Does that make the USA "really despicable"? You really find it hard to understand this concept of an isolationist nation keeping their technology secret to protect both themselves and the world. You also seem to find it hard to understand the concept that this is a fictional country with circumstances incomparable to anything else in real history, and how ridiculous it is to simply insert them into the real world history and then criticise them for anything they do. Why didn't Superman intervene and help at 9/11?...see how stupid what you are saying is?

The English and the Americans waited years until Hitler threatened them to do a damn thing.

DC-Fan has a point with #1. Wakanda was basically like Elysium, holding advanced medical equipment away from the rest of the world. Killmonger is Matt Damons character from the film.

It has clearly been a bad year for you. Justice League flops. Wonder Woman doesn't even get nominated for an Oscar. Black Panther is another roaring success, beating Wonder Woman domestic box office gross and most likely going to beat the world wide gross, then Black Panther dethrones Wonder Woman as the Greatest Superhero film ever. I know you're going to ignore all these points and probably even deny them with some bullshit cockamamie excuse, because you're a big fat fucking hypocrite and a cry baby

Innit?

And T’challa and his father supported the Sokovian Accords without any indication that it included Black Panther. They are liars and hypocrites.

DC-Fan has a point with #1. Wakanda was basically like Elysium, holding advanced medical equipment away from the rest of the world. Killmonger is Matt Damons character from the film. Seeing what Major World Powers did to the rest of Africa and how easily whatever tech they give them could be perverted into something awful, you can see the Wakandans' POV. Elysium, while I enjoyed it, really didn't have a good answer to the problem. Even at the end it wasn't going to just fix things having the tech be available to everyone.
