Because of the lack of rape scenes. Imagine if the remake of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE had no rape scenes. The lack of a rape or sexual assault scene did defuse the impact a little bit to trigger the vengeance, but I wasn't expecting one due to the current pc climate.
Me Too (pun intended)
Then again, doesn't Red Sparrow have a sexual attack? I haven't seen it yet.
I haven't seen it yet either Toastie.
I am distracted by the Test series between SA and Australia. And the somewhat alarming political situation here is claiming a lot of my attention and anxiety.
Which doesn't mean I didn't have time to watch (and thoroughly enjoy) PADDINGTON 2 and to re-watch the cracking SMALL TOWN CRIME.

PADDINGTON 2! I bet it wasn't as awesome as Thor: Ragnarok.
Lol. It was way, way fucking cooler than the shitty, over-the-top, C.G.I. -laden THOR 3. It was warm and funny and big hearted and sharply witty and oh so British - and sometimes that is all one needs. It was almost as good the first PADDINGTON flick (7,5 out of 10, as opposed to 8) and it had Hugh Grant as the villain. Besides, I have eclectic tastes. My horizons are wide.
Not sure what is going on in SA at present. Will have to check it out. Ya got water!
Dark political shit. Water's a lesser concern at the moment. It's our future that is at stake. Did see FILM STARS DON'T DIE IN LIVERPOOL this afternoon, though. Good flick, great performance from Annette Bening - as Gloria Grahame. Look out for it dude. On the other hand, if you enjoyed THOR: RAGNAROK ....
