So DC-Fan does a great job of hi-lighting Wakanda's savage ritual of choosing a king. It's especially barbaric in the 21st century. But they're one of the most technologically advanced nations. He really pointed that out. So let's look at how they used their technology. They used it for civil and medical advancements; while making advanced modifications to more traditional combat weapons. But the majority of it was committed to civil and medical advancement. So while other (so-called more civilized) nations were committing their technological advancements to weapons of mass destruction, Wakanda avoided this by compartmentalizing their barbarism and savagery to rituals of ascending the throne. Okay. Thanks for clearing that up DC-Fan ! Wakanda is an advanced and civil nation after all.

Which they kept from the world, ignoring the suffering of millions. Great nation, huh? Lagos, a city in a fellow African nation got to benefit from it and 11 Wakandans were killed for their trouble. So whenever you say "they kept their technology from the world," you have to add the phrase "except from Lagos, Nigeria."

No. The ‘outreach’ that Wakanda was doing for Nigeria was simply an empty public relations stunt.

That's cynical even for you, broheim. Is America giving away AZT for free to all of the African nations with skyrocketing AIDS infection rates? Turn down the volume on that hypocrisy, homeboy.

If it were Wakanda they wouldn’t even let you know that life saving technology existed

We wouldn't go out of our way to help sick people across the globe. Hell we don't even want to help our own.

If it were Wakanda they wouldn’t even let you know that life saving technology existed I believe it was a Wakandan who flew a foreign intelligence operative into their country against the wishes of his military advisor and ruling council to perform life-saving surgery on him at the risk that he'd reveal their secrets to the world. If I got shot in the back in Iraq protecting a US soldier, think they'd airlift me to John Hopkins? Your anti-Wakandan narratives are dead in the water, primo. If you waited to the end of the movie you would have seen that Wakanda's new, progressive King went in front of the world and promised to start doing more for others in need including medical and scientific exchanges and outreach programs. And he did this after strongly denouncing the previous regime's isolationist policies. So what more do you want from these beautiful and generous brothers and sisters? The fucking dashiki off of their backs?

Name me another country that gets more involved with other countries problems? You cannot. The US has charity and outreach programs all over the world, more than any other nation by far.
