I've read three books so far. Killing Floor, One Shot and Never Go Back. Based on those, I think he's capable of writing long passages that are tense and gripping and pull you into the story. There's a certain economy to his prose which suits the type of novel very well. But I think he struggles to maintain the quality of writing over the length of 450-500 pages and I've found my interest flagging towards the end of the books. Also, although he writes in an American voice, he has the occasional lapse and uses a British word or term instead. Almost all British writers pretending to be American seem to sooner or later.

I stopped after the 5th or 6th book or so. The first few were fairly entertaining but there was a certain sameness to them after a while.

I read one book, can't remember the name. I thought it was the most violent and puerile lost script of The Littlest Hobo.
