eh, the impact will be minimal. This weekend if BP keeps performing like it has you are looking at most 40million for it's 4th weekend domestically. Internationally there is enough room for it as BP opened in foreign markets before it was released in North America. This weekend Black Panther opens in China so it's possible it would've competed with A Wrinkle in Time. The only problem with that is A Wrinkle in Time isn't opening in China.

A Wrinkle in Time looks dreadful. I don't know who the movie is for. If it's kids I haven't read in interest in it or heard any interest from kids. If it's for adults to recapture their childhood with a movie based off a 50year old tween book they didn't market it well. .
