HAWKEYE wears black leather! Why aren't you complaining about that? GIVE HAWKEYE THE PURPLE!!!!!!!!8!!!!9!!!! Hawkeye does wear purple... Not in Civil War. It's completely black. And the purple in the first two Avengers was so muted it might as well have been black. |

See, that's the thing about the colors being muted... They put them in the daylight (unlike X-men) and don't filter the movie out (like the DCEU). I wouldn't mind muted colors for the X-men if they didn't make the movies so dark. And you can clearly see the difference between the black and purple in his suit. Even if muted. |

That isn't totally black, you can see purple if you look close.

Oh and because you mentioned the 1st 2 Avengers movies.  Here's AoU while in the shade.  You can still see the purple from the black. Another AoU with washed out filters.  |

I wouldn't mind muted colors for the X-men if they didn't make the movies so dark. And you can clearly see the difference between the black and purple in his suit. Even if muted. The grey scale in Civil War is so screwed up that all the colors look super muted. It's a big problem with using digital cameras. Phase One movies used real film which is why they look so much richer and colorful. Digital cameras suck. |

I've seen all of these movies multiple times and I never once noticed that Hawkeye's costume was anything other than pure black. Muted colors suck.
