Yeah Supergirl has her own supporting cast, yet instead of using them they borrow from Superman's. Which is a real shame.

Yeah Supergirl has her own supporting cast, yet instead of using them they borrow from Superman's. Which is a real shame. And not to mention her own villains. A lot of people who have never read the 'Supergirl' comic books don't actually realise how many villains Supergirl has had over the years and while most of the reoccurring ones were in the 'Supergirl/ Linda Danvers' series Kara had a LOT of villains that appeared in one off issues that would be fun to see in the TV show and if they can handle them right I see no reason why they can't use some of the Linda Danvers villains on this show especially after mentioning Lilith. Carnivore, Baalzebub, Blithe, Buzz and Twilight to name a few would be good to see on TV and would be a big challenge for Supergirl to face. Now demons have been confirmed to exist in 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' it makes sense they would exist over in Supergirl's world too and they could bring angels into it too and really change things up. Earth Born Angels like Linda Danvers in the second half of the series were more powerful than Krptonians and have next to no weaknesses. Also an old one but Decay would be fun to see and appeared in a few issues of 'Supergirl' and other comics.

Well, we might not see them use the Linda Danvers villains in the TV show because they seem to be steering away from that era and don't want us to remember it.
I think a retooling of the Linda Danvers concept could have been interesting. Having Supergirl be a Kryptonian and replace Alex with Linda, who merges with Kara.

Yeah, the only one who can be overpowered is Felicity, who can do things with a computer that defy the laws of physics.

You mean like hacking a Betamax into a vhs in less time it takes for her to wipe her arse?

Everybody knows Felicity doesn't need to wipe her ass. She's far too perfect to do something like pooping.

But she can't prevent a crooked cop from tracing a remote download that is then physically moved to an entirely separate location and presumably a different device - you know, the basic thing a hacker who doesn't want to be arrested would need to know how to do...

Well seems Guggenheims departure is already having effect much like his ascension started seeping in at the end of S2, Felicity is no longer infallible, reminds me of S1 when she wasn't a hacker goddess of the highest order and just your typical hacker who was capable of being found out, amazing how that happens right?

That may be true, but for me it's too little too late. I've been burned enough by this show to give them another chance.
I am done!

Not long ago I would have agreed with you 100 percent but it looks like the invincible Felicity Smoak that used to overshadow everybody has left the building now and she is going back to what she used to be. They have humanised her and I have a feeling this is not going to sit well with some of the extreme fans but I think the writers might have finally got the message or the new showrunner isn't as big of a fan of the character as Marc and Wendy were and wanted them to make her more grounded for next season. I am not sure but we could see a big change.

Felicity being there turns viewers off and her romantic scenes with Oliver make people . Somebody needs to get voted off this island and it's her time to go.

I think if they kill Felicity off it won't be done unless it is a part of some big event and Felicity's death will have a significant impact on Oliver's future actions. They might have her killed off by the Longbow Hunters when Oliver is in prison and they will also kidnap his son (or kill him too) and that will lead to Oliver having to find a way to get out of prison and get his revenge on them. Whether she dies or not I have a feeling William and her will be kidnapped at some point by the Longbow Hunters next season.
