I am asking, because I've yet to hear any other album that is as well produced as Loaded, imo. The whole album really does sound awesome.

Not a VU album IMHO, more a split solo album with Doug Yule. Can't say it stood out to me as particularly well produced especially given the managerial shenanigans and manoevourings going on at that time for control.

Reed is a better vocalist though and far more suited to the type of music the VU made on the first 2 albums (the real VU albums). Yule has a more traditional pretty voice but any vocal Is down to personal taste anyway. The post VU careers of Reed and Yule really tell us all we need to know about talent.

I just like Loaded the best, better production imo, better drummer imo, better vocalist on at least certain songs anyway imo. I don't expect anyone to agree.
