I suppose the criminal guy, played by Benicio Del Toro didn't catch his character name, called ahead in secret to the First Order? That would explain why they were caught and he was paid off. Correct? Also, what happened to him? Did he escape or was he killed in the ambush?
When the Rebel Fleet went head on against the AT-ATs in their last stand, why did they scrape the surface of the snow of Hoth salt to bring up the red dust?

I am not sure about your red dust question but when it comes to your Questions about Benicio Del Toro's Character, Here are Some Answers Below! 1. The Name of Benicio Del Toro's Character is "DJ". 2. I think that he somehow warned The First Order about Finn & Rose at some point while they were already there. 3. I think that DJ did indeed Escape just before Vice Admiral Holdo rammed her Cruiser at Hyperspeed into Snoke's Ship. In fact, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he returns in " EPISODE 9".

To 2K: Dude, it's fucking Star Wars. There is no such thing as putting in any useless thoughts. Unless it's the prequels or the fucking and useless newest and updated ruined versions that Luca$h put out.

If those with the force are supposed to be so awesome and see so much with it then how come: Luke didn't detect Chewie at the door when he broke it in? Snoke didn't detect the light saber before Kylo killed him with it?

The speeders have a stabilizer strut to keep balance when flying along the ground. Seems like a poorly built craft.

He made a deal with the FO after being captured 2. They were caught because they were spotted 3. He didn't escape, he was let go and was gone before the "ambush" 4. The older ships needed the ground for balance. They were like an older model of Luke's landspeeder.

lols putting thought into Disney SW is so useless Oh, you haven't seen the prequels? I have, and I can safely say that your deflections show you haven't - or you are just unable to put any thought into it.
But let's put that to a test! I will ask a few viewer comprehension question (mostly circling around Palp's rise and plot), and we can finally assess your ability to processs thoughs and how much thought you put into your "opinions". Ready to go?

Snoke didn't detect the light saber before Kylo killed him with it? 1. Luke was not focused on knowing who was at the door. plus he could have been a bit out of practice. The Force comes and goes as the story allows in all Star Wars movies. 2. Snoke did know something was going down but didn't figure out it was anger directed at him.

Snoke was arrogant. He was convinced he had Kylo under absolute control. Much like Palpatine and Vader come to think of it. Wait a minute, was it all just a mirror of the original trilogy?
Again?
They should not have named TFA and TLJ episodes 7 and 8, but just remakes of the original series. It would not have improved either movie, but at least then they'ld have been honest about it.
