I'm not sure what my parents favourite films were, but they loved the Marx Brothers, and W.C. FIelds. I remember my father liked La Ronde very much, and Bicycle Thieves. THe Ghost Goes West is another one I remember him enjoying. WIll Hay as well, especially Oh Mr Porter!
My brother was a huge fan of Greta Garbo, he particularly liked Camille, and Queen Christina. HE was a great Dietrich fan as well, he liked The Blue Angel, Shanghai Express etc. I think Enfants du Paradise was another favourite of his. HE loved Woody Allen's films as well, though I don't know what his favourite was. And Ingmar Bergman.
NOt sure what my sister's favourite film is, she enjoyed Lady in the Van very much when we went to see it a couple of years ago.

I doubt any member of my immediate family has a single favourite movie, but they all have different tastes and preferences.
Dad doesn't really watch films, with the exception of the odd Western or an oldie like The Great Escape.
Mum likes period dramas - mainly those set in England and dealing with the English upper classes or royals.
My brother is big into 80s and 90s movies. He has a low enough opinion of more contemporary fare. On this we differ quite a bit. He also enjoys detective dramas and war movies more than I do.
