Does anybody feel that Simon West's direction of this movie is very reminiscent of Micheal Bay's style? 'Bad Boys' and 'The Rock' had that same feel and look.

yes i used to like that style back then until michael bay started to get out of control and make less quality films. tony scott is an earlier form of this style in my opinion.

Yeah definitely some similarities there. I thought Con Air was a LOT of fun and loved John Malkovich as Cyrus the Virus .
