Danny Pintauro Brian Bonsall Jerry Supiran I know of Pintauro pointing his HIV positive status on a meth addiction, and Bonsall (Alex Keaton's younger brother on Family Ties) with his troubles with the law. But I've never heard of Jerry Suprian.

I think it is pretty much a sizable majority of pre-adolescent movie and TV actors who never make it into an acting career as an adult. It would be easier to name the ones who DO break through to adult roles.

I wonder if the boys ended up as the targets of Hollywood pedos more than the girls. Seems as though all the lost causes (with the exception of Lohan and Spears) are male.
Jake Lloyd though--seems to have been a victim of being too well known (and for a disliked movie)--constantly being teased about light sabers etc.
Seems as though if you get into that kind of business at a certain age you might as well stay in it and do your schooling by tutor because you will never fit into the normal again.

I guess George Lucas really did ruin someone's childhood.

No mention of Macaulay Culkin? No. Not until you mentioned him. He deliberately quit acting which hardly makes him "washed up".

I guess George Lucas really did ruin someone's childhood. I doubt that but I really hated that film. Lucas knew that the Star Wars fans were all adults by 1999 but he did this kiddie film with stupid characters which insulted the intelligence of his audience. The kid in the film made a splash but didn't make good.

I only remember Jar Jar and the kid in the hovercraft. Kiddie City.
