Anyone have any Bad memories of going to see the original trilogy as a young one? Usually the stories are all joyous and life changing. Any of seeing the PT? Not asking if you didn't enjoy the films, but more so did you have an accident, were you robbed, scolded by your parents etc?

I watched the Original Trilogy for the first time during Easter 2001 (still the VHS era in my household) around the time I had a relatively minor but nonetheless extremely uncomfortable medical procedure carried out. I won't go into any details here, but a lot of skin had to grow back and I can clearly recall sitting there watching those movies for the first time in horrendous discomfort. Not the ideal circumstances in which to receive one's induction into the Star Wars universe. I still shudder at the memory.

Well, if you count thinking last minute plans to watch Star Wars Special Edition theatrical release opening night, only to find out the f'n place was rammed full upon arrival... then yeah, that kinda sucked. I knew ppl would be curious, there was no warning though it'd be such a huge hit again.
Went the next morning 11am showing. Barely 20 of us in the theatre. Projector malfunctioned for a long 20mins, the staff played freestyle SW trivia for swag with us. Walking out to find another full house waiting in line for the first afternoon showtime, all looking at us like 'how the fcuk did you guys get in before us?
