The US Office had 1 great season (even if the original series still has it beat) and the rest was crap with characters thinking they’re in a modern-day Simpsons episode.

Nah. The original Office is great, but the US version is better.

I completely disagree. The first three seasons of The US Office are all great. It even still stays very good through most of its run, with only the final two seasons or so as a dip. The finale was well done.

They both suck. I fail to see the humor in encasing someone's stapler in gelatin.
I watched both pilots one after the other and they were word for word the same thing.

The first season of the US one was a pointless rehash of the original. It was the next season they established the Simpsons-like tone.

Thanks Phoenix101. That's encouraging. My school did use a clip from USOffice as a comedic example of what NIT to do during an actual fire in the building. Throwing cats was inane but funny. I know comedy. I was watching and understanding British comedy since I was 5years old.

Nah. The original Office is great, but the US version is better. I wouldn't use the word great for either one. Ok?

As far as I know, I prefer the original office, because the American version has some sort of romance plot with the Pam character, and the guy. In other words the original show is better imo because it didn't have any romance plot, unless I am forgetting.

And since both pilots we're exactly the same word for word, how more sucky can you get?

I’ve only seen the US version...and I’m honestly not all that quick to check out the UK one.

Both are fantastic, but I prefer the US version. Seasons 2 - 4 of the US version are perhaps the best seasons of comedy I've seen.
