I'm very sorry to see Thea go but it was a good episode. One big complaint: Could they make the fight scenes any darker for crying out loud? I couldn't tell who was who. It's totally pointless too. They are all wearing masks so just use stunt doubles and turn on the lights so we can see some action! (end of rant)

My only real complaint is this whole thing about Diggle becoming the Green Arrow, and the tension that's been building towards the next episode.
What's the big deal about becoming the Green Arrow as opposed to anything else? He doesn't actually know how to use a bow and arrow; he needed a special rig that fired arrows like a gun. From the start, the major idea behind him being the Green Arrow was to distance the identity from Oliver while he was under investigation of being the Green Arrow.
And like Oliver even pointed out last night, there's really no team if Oliver leaves; it'd be Diggle and Felicity. For it to be so important for Diggle to be the boss of a two person team makes the whole thing seem like an ego trip. Why does it have to be a binary choice, instead of Dig and Oliver being equal partners; in which case, what would it matter what costume he wears?

The story line hasn't been handled very well.

That's an understatement.
