OK, was going to vote for The Rain Song, but I'm going with The Crunge instead.

Walter's Walk from the album, Coda. Haven't got that far with their discography yet, but thanks for the warning.

I know a lot of people hate The Crunge and I didn't like it at first, either. It's certainly an odd song. But over the years I warmed up to it more because I don't take it seriously. It's just the boys messing around with satire of the James Brown style. Now it always makes me laugh because it's more of a joke than anything else. Maybe it's the kind of thing that should've later been added to the special features/extra cuts of the album.

OK, was going to vote for The Rain Song One of their best songs. Sounded very tedious tonight.

Hats off to (Roy) Harper. It's the only song of theirs (from a studio album anyway) that I don't own.

The Crunge is a harmless annoyance. Carouselambra is 10 minutes of interminable badness. It starts with a Europe-level cheesy keyboard riff, develops into 2nd-class Yes noodling, then into a boring, 2nd-rate Rush mood piece, and ends with a long and pointless outro and a seemingly impossible worse keyboard riff, all sung by a Robert Plant who was recorded in a drunken, muddled stupor from next door.

Stairway to effing Heaven. Love the band but loathe that pile of maudlin manure.

I love The Crunge as it's basically just a tribute to James Brown. Agree with previous posters that Carouselambra and Hats off to Harper seem like their worst two. Also some of the live tracks on The Song Remains the Same go on far too long and just come off as self indulgent to me.

Hate The Crunge, but now will have to listen for the James Brown connection.
My fried can't stand Kashmir.

Hate The Crunge, but now will have to listen for the James Brown connection. My fried can't stand Kashmir. Yeah. "The Crunge" is a really funny parody of James Brown. "Where's that confounded bridge?" Plant gets a little carried away with the baby babies and orgasm sounds in "Kashmir" but it's still a classic.
