The drama 'Butterflies Are Free' is set in San Francisco, California in the 1970s. Don Baker (Edward Albert) moves into a new apartment so he can live alone for the first time in his life. Don is blind and wants to learn to be totally independent. Jill Tanner (Goldie Hawn) moves into an apartment and becomes Don's new neighbour. The two become friends but Jill doesn't get along with Mrs. Baker (Eileen Heckart), Don's protective mother. Goldie Hawn & Edward Albert

She was so cute and pert! She has that unique Hungarian quirkiness like Bela Lugosi, Peter Lorre, Paul Lukas, Tony Curtis etc. thanks to her heritage.

Yes she was, but this photographed play is tough to sit thru, has dated really badly

Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, MD. Classmates included Carl Bernstein, Ben Stein, and Sylvester Stallone.
Always liked Butterflies are Free very much, but then, I tend to be partial to "filmed plays".
