Royal Trux are tentatively scheduled to release a new album in late 2018 or early 2019; it'll be their first longplayer since 'Pound For Pound' (2000).
'Small Thief' - Royal Trux
I'd like to dedicate this to Trux Brother in Arms Morty - may he rest in everlasting peace

Wow, didn't realise they'd been inactive that long.
Twin Infinitives is still one of the most "out-there" albums I've heard.

Wow, didn't realise they'd been inactive that long. Twin Infinitives is still one of the most "out-there" albums I've heard. I know, it's been a long time and they're getting old now lol. Royal Trux started out alongside Pavement, formed just a little earlier. Pavement were signed to Drag City Records early in their career, before moving to Matador. "There's a band I like, Royal Trux. They have more of an evil side to them; they're meaner than us. Like, they don't write "nice" songs. I mean, we are nice suburban boys in the end. We try to have a bit of swagger that comes off a little sexist in some lyrics. That's part of our going for that classic-rock thing."
- Stephen Malkmus, Rolling Stone
