IMO, the best part of this otherwise overproduced movie is the parting of the Red Sea. And this was long before CGI. In fact, that scene was equally impressive in the 1923 silent version, also by DeMille.

I voted other.... The reason: Edward G. Robinson !!!! E.G. is sometimes mocked for this role, but he was just incredible. My favorite scene is Yul Brenner's last scene. "His God is God." Yul wears some great hats.

Yul wears some great hats. He's like a biblical mafioso, cunning and smirking, trying to get a free pass... "So let it be written, so let it be done" love it when Yul's bombastic voice say it

I like the city building scenes. It really shows how good the Paramount cartoon department was.
I also like the VistaVision process. So sharp!

Now, if you had asked what is your LEAST favorite part, I'd have to say Anne Baxter. Yrrch--she was awful!!

There are a bunch of them: -Moses saving Yochabel -All of Cedric Hardwicke's scenes. -Nefretiri killing Memnet. -Moses befriending the dying slave. -Rameses' chariot charge, with Nefretiri watching from a balcony.
The aforementioned Red Sea split: -The dark clouds forming around the sky. -Post-pillar of fire, the excitement building as Moses tells everyone to get moving. -The hebrews beginning to cross with the 'Joseph' chant instrumental. Maybe it's the length of the film, but seeing the Hebrews put through so much, that scene of their liberation crossing gets me the FEELS.
-The creation of the commandments.
