I was born in 1990. Over 1000 feature films came out in 1990. Over 1000 TV series debuted in 1990. So: What are your favourite feature films from 1990? What are your favourite TV series which debuted in 1990? You can list your favourites from 1990 in other categories as well if you want (such as short films, TV movies, video games, books, etc...) I really liked Ghost.

Unless I missed it, I don't see a single vote for My Blue Heaven, which is a travesty. I'm also surprised at the number of nods to Dances With Wolves. Sure it won Best Picture, but have you seen it lately? It's extremely heavy handed to the point of being almost campy. There are much better films with the same pro- Native American message that give you the story from both sides but end up showing the raw deal American Indians got without talking down to the audience. I will say one of my favorite Westerns, Geronimo: An American Legend, probably doesn't get made without the success of Dances With Wolves, so there's that. Anyway, my list...
My Blue Heaven
Reversal of Fortune
The Hunt For Red October
Short Time
Die Hard 2
Quick Change
Young Guns 2
Men At Work
Goodfellas
Pacific Heights
Desperate Hours
I'm just realizing how great this year was in film, at least for me!
Quigley Down Under
Internal Affairs
Loose Cannons (No really, I liked that movie)
Hard To Kill
Blind Fury
Total Recall
(I highly recommend I Come In Peace, for no other reason than Jay Bilas plays the evil alien)
Marked For Death
Miller's Crossing
Home Alone
And at some point this is going to become 'a list of movies that I've seen that were released in 1990,' so I'll stop there.

Of all already mentioned, Dances With Wolves is probably my favorite.
One that has not been mentioned is Grifters. Excellent film noir.
