LA Law was probably my favorite legal show until the Good Wife came along.
Both of them discussed a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that makes a law firm run.
Can;t forget Murder One or Doogie Houser either.
NYPD Blue was probably the first mature show on standard TV or cable.

NYPD Blue was probably the first mature show on standard TV or cable. NO, 'Hill Street Blues' IS.

Murder One had the concept of the single storyline in a single season, too bad it's first season (when it was used) was scheduled at the Thursday at 10pm timeslot against a little show called ER.
Admirable idea, bad timing.
