Complete and utter bullshit. First of all, their theory of consciousness is beyond controversial--almost no qualified scientist takes it seriously. There is zero evidence that any important processes involved with consciousness take places in microtubules. Secondly, the article simply pretends that when their theory refers to information processing done by quantum processes, it is talking about the soul. No, it isn't. It is talking about quantum information processes, which are well defined and have nothing to do with what people think of when they say they believe in the soul--and it should be noted that scientists and philosophers started rejecting the idea that we have souls a long time ago. The idea is dead.
