Sweet Country
Director: Warwick Thornton Starring: Bryan Brown, Matt Day, Tremayne Doolan Synopsis: Australian western set on the Northern Territory frontier in the 1920s, where justice itself is put on trial when an aged Aboriginal farmhand shoots a white man in self defense and goes on the run as posse gathers to hunt him down.
So far the reviews for this movie are stellar (94% RT and a 90/100 on Metacritic, which is the highest for any movie this year so far). It seems to be a very unique movie, even Metacritic can't really place it anywhere. They have it as a Adventure, Drama, History, Thriller, Crime, Western movie.
