Just say no to having children. It is an incredibly selfish, self-centered act by the reproducers. So is not having them. You do it out of a desire of more things for yourself: be it money, free time, etc. Don't pretend your some noble person for not having kids and looking down on others who do.. I am not noble, and look down on no one. I am just saying I wouldn't role the dice on creating a life just so I'd have something to do when I'm old. I'm sure you know life can be tough, it can be hard and it is almost always unfair. That's the life a person lives. But to willing inflict this on another person is so beyond reprehensible.

depends... actual physical abuse is worse than medicating them but if you mean general discipline then obviously the over-medication is worse in that case since general discipline is a good thing. I am of the mindset the less medication the better for humanity in general. sure, I realize that some people do need it to function half way decently and that's fine but I feel many doctors are quick to pump people full of prescriptions drugs (especially when you start down that giving you one to fix one thing and then needing another to counter act the symptoms of another and so on) which can't be good for them, especially long term. with that said... sometimes physical contact is needed to correct kids from time-to-time (those who are outright against any physical contact... look at what people have been doing a long time (i.e. they had to get physical with their children here and there to keep them inline) and we all turned out okay). but nowadays it seems many parents let the kids run them instead of the other way around and that's not going to end well as it's just going to get more profound once they get to be teenagers and at that point your pretty much screwed since they will probably be more defiant than usual. but in all honesty... raising a kid in today's world would be more difficult than it used to be. but from what I have heard it seems a child's general formation happens at a early age (like say the first 5-7 years or something along those lines) so if that part of their life is out of whack, like if the parents are barely around etc(kids need that closeness with their parents at a early age), they are probably going to be that much worse as a teenager on forward. deembastille I have heard someone say that kids with a lot of issues tend to be raised in daycare (like not around their parents much) tend to be out of whack (like I heard the school shooter types tend to have this in common) when they get older vs ones that are raised half way decently. I imagine that will probably be the case with foster care to given they where not raised properly so it's not that surprising they go off the rails to. it probably does not help when they have no purpose/guide in life and grow up around those bad neighborhoods as that crap is like a cancer for many. While I can see it's tempting to think that way given what you described. but at the end of the day they are still a human beings and abortion is just straight up immoral/evil in the eyes of God. so while I don't support abortion at all, I do think you made some general point in that some people 'seem' beyond redemption as they are trapped in that, what seems to be, a endless cycle of crime/drugs/sex etc. basically a life of sin, which won't end well. itsmagic Damn! ; thank God you got out of that cycle of life and are helping others. I applaud you them1ghtyhumph I hope your not actually serious. because giving life to others is not selfish at all. life is a good thing in general. I would even go as far as to say that, at least in some cases, that not having children is selfish because those couples who never have kids (for those who can have them) it just allows them to continue in their self centered way of living where as once one has kids, then the whole 'self' thing has to go on the back burner for the sake of the kids. also, to state the obvious... if no one had children then humanity would cease to exist. seems more likely the selfish thing to do is NOT to have children. NOTE: I am not saying everyone has to have kids, but that in general, having kids is not a selfish act but a act of love and takes discipline/self sacrifice on the parents part to raise that child half way decently. Gonna disagree. Life is not a good thing in general.

Some people are just not mentally equipped for having children. Joan Crawford wasn't and she should have taken God's hint. Farting out a kid or two doesn't make you automatically superior to those who chose not to or can not. The world is way overpopulated as it is! Hey mslo79 , where's your precious God when His little children are getting beaten, raped and killed at the hands of these so called parents??? don't blame God when Evil is done. He sees and records every deed. the devil tricks people into thinking they are getting away with it. maybe only temporarily and only in this world. Jesus said of those who would harm these little ones "it would be better if a millstone were hung around his neck and he was cast into the sea". they will give full account for their unspeakable wickedness. these monsters will pay for their crimes. they are only storing up God's wrath to be unleashed upon them for all eternity in the fires of hell

How can you not question this? How can you not question His existence? You "no matter what" believers are really living in a dream world. What even makes you think your God is MY God or anyone else's?

How about throwing bottles of Aspirin at them?
You can kill two birds with one stone with that one!

itsmagic ... 🤣. I just realized your handle on this! Completely blasphemous! i will answer your second question first to clarify. the reference is to the magic kingdom. as an abused child one of the few joys i had was to on occasion be allowed to watch the wonderful world of disney. maybe a few cartoons. and dream that one day i could go to disneyland. look at my icon. it has to do with the illusions of this world that would seek to blind us to the truth. it says two ways to be wrong - thinking you already know the truth & not believing the real truth. as for defining blasphemy. the actual definition is to curse, speak against, or impugn the character of God. or to pretend to be speaking for God or to seek to be Him. resisting His purposes, will or Word. ALL of which the devil has done and continues to do in this world

God exists. He walked among us. was murdered by the devil. yet He rose from the dead. the One True Living God. Jesus is His Son

I don't care if people don't want kids, but people who aggressively brag about how awesome they are for not having them - and put down others for doing so - and pretend there is some admirability to it have problems. You don't want kids? Great. Shut up and move on.

So those who choose to have children (whether they ought to or not) are "better" than those who choose NOT to have children? Really?
Ts this even the topic up for discussion? To thwack your unruly children or to drug them?
