Raven king - please let me know if this is any good, I love to read cat cozy mysteries before I go to bed. Thanks! Well, it's not really a cat cozy. The cat is a minor character. It's about an old lady, a bit of a Miss Marple type who visits her niece, who lives in a run-down apartment building where weird and possibly criminal things are hapenning. I haven't gotten to the part with the murder yet and so far the cat has been mostly passive, being carried around in her box, although I expect that she will play an important part in uncovering the mystery.

Thanks, I also like little old lady sleuths so I might try this.

I need to read this, I saw Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in Noel Coward's "Private Lives" in Chicago, they were divorced at the time and Burton was married to someone else but you could see the chemistry those two had with each other, I remember one scene when he slaps her ass and the whole audience reacted because you could tell something was "still there."

Nero Wolfe mystery The Rubber Band by Rex Stout. Early one. The interplay between Archie and Wolfe is already very funny.
