What the hell is up with all these "Live Action" remakes?
Are young people too insecure in their adulthood to watch cartoons anymore?
And "Remakes Remakes Remakes"...
How many times have people said that remakes suck, and they are not as good as the originals...
So why do people keep making remakes?
I like the animated film too...
And I see NO POINT AT ALL in watching any other version!

I'm not against the idea of remakes in of themselves. If it sucks, it sucks. As for the Disney remakes, I either liked or wound up indifferent to most of them so far, no harm no foul. The only one I didn't like were Pete's Dragon.

Are they going to remake everything? Dear God, forgive us: what have we done to deserve this?

Are they going to remake everything? Dear God, forgive us: what have we done to deserve this? I'd actually like to see a remake of: Mainly for one reason... I think the movie would look incredible with today's special effects... I hear a remake has been in the works for almost a decade, but it seems to be stuck in "development hell".... They seem to be more interested in pushing "live action" versions of films that had nothing wrong with them to begin with... instead of updating films that would benefit from today's technology. Hey.... Why isn't Disney remaking...? With "James Bond"/"Mission Impossible" & Comic Book type films being so popular right now... Condorman would be a perfect film to remake right now... Maybe they could do "Condorgirl" instead, to please the feminists...

I'd like it if they took another stab at The Black Cauldron if not adapt the entire Prydain series.

I am surprised they took so long to make this into a live action movie. There have been numerous live action movies of King Arthur but this is arguably the most popular and well known story and it is great to see Disney making more live action movies. I can't wait to see 'The Little Mermaid' movie and would love to see movies of 'Pocahontas', 'The Aristocats' 'The Fox and the Hound', 'The Rescuers' and 'Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers' made next along with a PROPER live adaption of '101 Dalmatians' where the puppies are the main stars and talk.
