Anyone else keeping up on this story? Apparently Channel Awesome (best known for The Nostalgia Critic) is losing subscribers like crazy because of a Google document released by former employees about poor work environment, not getting paid properly and even sexual allegations. I used to be a big fan of Doug Walker but now not so much. The Document

I stopped watching Nostalgia Critic (Doug Walker) around 2010 or so when he started introducing other characters into his web series, particularly the Nostalgia Chick. It was a slick way for him to gain a female fan base without exactly announcing it to the entire world.
I decided to take a gander at one of his most recent reviews (Batman Forever). It's nothing but one damn advertisement after another. I noticed he took a sizable portion of his older videos, edited them, then shoved even more ads into it.
I'm gonna laugh if YouTube pulls his videos over the allegations (which I'm sure they will with the way things are going). The guy had it coming for being a sellout and pandering to his audience.
At least The Angry Video Game Nerd (James Rolfe) pretty much stuck to his original formula. Several years later and his videos are just as enjoyable as when he first started slamming crappy video games.

But then it got kinda stale and yes the new characters and advertising is pretty lame. Also the new skits were pretty terrible. And now this shit is happening which makes me like it less. Although I admit I peak in every once in a while.
