I'm usually more in the consensus on comedy than other genres. Of course once can see by the selections I prefer slapstick style and rut gut laugh out loud bursting humor, but I try to include the main "dry" ones as well to give a decent cross section.

Vacation (1983) (in terms of straight comedies, this is my #1 on the list) Forrest Gump (1994) (while I can see why this is somewhat consider 'Comedy', I see it a fair amount of Drama variation to)
