Stephen Amell Teases A Big Change Coming For ‘Arrow’ Season 7heroichollywood.com/amell-teases-big-change-arrow/I wonder what the big change is going to be. We already know Diggle is off the team now and David Ramsey has said it is a long term storyline and we shouldn't expect Diggle back on 'Team Arrow' anytime soon and with it only being Oliver and Felicity left maybe now is the time they will introduce a new member like Arrowette or form a new team for the next season or the big change could be Oliver finally getting all his money back and becoming the CEO of Queen Industries which would undoubtedly change things big time going forward. Some sites are saying he might go public and reveal himself as the Green Arrow like he did in Season 10 of 'Smallville' and that is possible too but I think they will leave that to the final season.

One can only hope it's the death of Felicity Smoak.

Killing Felicity would be good, but given how that went with Laurel, I doubt Stephen would promise something like that to be so profound and irresponsible. I think outting himself as Green Arrow would fit the bill, but I'm ambivalent about how a character like the Green Arrow, who's more street fighter than anything, could make that work. It's not like with Tony Stark where he's multifaceted and an industrial magnate, who develops his own tech; and being a superhero is a component of who he is and what he does and is probably something of a brand, as much as anything else. I mean, the suit gives Iron Man his abilities, but would there really be a point in Oliver being "Green Arrow" if people know it's him doing these things?

I liked Roy's character, but his last few episodes weren't done well at all and he felt like a fifth wheel. Hopefully he'll be more fleshed out next season. However, his return also raises a lot of questions. He promised to stick with Thea in her quest to get rid of all the Lazarus Pits, but obviously that's not going to happen. How will they explain him leaving Thea and Nyssa? At least that's one thing to look forward to in season 7.

I was looking forward to him returning this season 'cause Arsenal as a character is such an important part of the history of the Green Arrow as I mentioned above and the writers of this show never gave him the spot he should have had and I think part of that was 'cause they created Diggle and made Diggle Oliver's best friend and top sidekick instead of Roy. With Diggle leaving the team they can make Arsnal his main sidekick and his best friend now but how they brought him back this season was disappointing and with the way he has so quickly been upgraded to being a Season Regular next series it makes me wonder if that was supposed to be the last time we saw the character but 'cause so many fans have been wanting him to come back and Colton is obviously free enough to be a regular on a show they changed their minds. I think the most logical explanation for him leaving Thea and Nyssa is Oliver is currently outnumbered and Thea being worried about him sends Roy back to help him. I think we will see him again before the end of the season and he will turn up in the final episode or just before then to help even up the numbers.

The big change was already revealed. Oliver and Diggle are no longer best buddies and are going seperate ways . The bromance is over and all those good times are behind them but we still have the memories. Why am I hearing Hall & Oates?

That could be the reason why Roy comes back, but it doesn't seem enough for me. If I were Roy, I will not leave the woman I love who is going after assassins and whoever else are guarding the pits. Especially since her ally, Nyssa, is not 100% trustworthy. Assuming Thea gets word that Diggle has left Oliver, I still can't imagine Roy leaving her to face such dangerous enemies. Diaz is a drug dealer and dangerous, but the Thanatos Guild are LoA members. Anyway it's still a long way till season 7 so we can only speculate.

No. It doesn't but we have seen what the writers are like with these shows and we are probably kidding ourselves if we think we are going to get a really good reason for why Roy returns to the show. I am just hoping they use him right this time and make him Oliver's main sidekick and closest friend and they have him become a more skilled fighter like he is in the comic books. I agree that Nyssa is not one hundred percent trustworthy and you think she would be at this point since they have Talia to use as the Ghul villain and could have had Nyssa make a full fledged turn into a hero or at least a friend they can trust looking back at what they have been through. I didn't think about it before but with Thea maybe they meet up with another red hero named Jason and he joins their team and that is why Roy thinks it is safe to leave Thea with Nyssa.

And this is why we need an Arrow musical episode; or even just David and Stephen doing this during a comic con panel. Although, as counterintuitive as it is, I kind of think Oliver would be more like Turk....

For me it is more of the fact you wouldn't expect it coming from Oliver and Diggle 'cause they are more serious characters than the ones who appeared in the musical episode and having Green Arrow fighting Ricardo Diaz only to break out into song during a scene would be hilarious and they could do something similar to 'Kung Fu Yoga' where Jackie Chan is fighting the main villain and breaks into song and the main villain stops for a while and joins in.
