this is a problem in indian cities too. recently an old friend i had stopped talking to 12 years ago, called me up. and we chatted for a while. he was so frustrated with corporate and family life in banglalore, he came down last sunday to hang out with me. we went to some of our old haunts and then settled down for a beer. i cant say i enjoyed myself all that much. but we agreed to meet again soon. he will come down again in may.
most of my friends have moved out of kerala. i only had less than 5 anyway. i am a part of some whatsapp groups. but mostly life sucks once you enter the corporate world. thats the truth.
