There was also this Batman cartoon which was in the mid late 90's which was a continuation of Batman TAS except with worse character designs because they cut the budget of the show.

superman: the original show. god my parents were old fogies. and although Christopher reeve played supe in the movies and played him differently than George, it was wonderful.
batman: the original show. and i disliked it. i didn't understand how batman walked around during the day as batman. doesn't he have a business to run as Bruce wayne? shouldn't Robin/dick grayson be in some sort of hs or college? the movies were more realistic and 'earthy'.
wonder woman. the show with linda carter.
the hulk: reruns of lou ferrigno.
spider man: the original movies.
i was never into comic books. a waste of money in my family.

This post applies equally for DC and Marvel, but I’m posting it here because the same posters frequent both boards, and I’m interested in reading your thoughts. Basically, in what way do you remember first seeing these characters, whether by the comics themselves, TV shows (animated or live-action), or movies? A few reasons I’m doing this, but I hope others are interested; you’re allowed to choose any characters you’d like. I was never particularly interested in comics (except Golden and Silver Age stories), so you’ll see few of them on my list. Superman is, of course, such a pop-culture icon that everyone seems to grow up with him, but I think I first saw him in the ‘40s Fleischer cartoons. I learned pretty much everything I knew about superheroes (not much) from my grandfather, who loved them, and I watched those cartoons, which he vaguely remembered from his childhood, with him. They’re still tons of fun. From there I saw the Christopher Reeve Superman, which I still consider the best superhero flick of ‘em all, and Superman: The Animated Series. ...what was animated in the 60s? I know I was reading comics by the time I was 7. Superboy. Supergirl. Legion. I remember my sister liked Duo Damsel. I liked Supergirl. This would be around 1967. . Adam West. By Kindergarten because I got in trouble playing it at school. So around 1966? I know I switched schools in Kindergarten & it was the 2nd school. . He's one I think I came late to. I know teen years I was reading him. Probably through his appearing in other comics I read. I don't remember her until Lynda Carter & I barely watched that. I'm sure she was in other stuff, but she didnt register. Incredibles is starting so later
