So I bought this stuff. Would have gotten the regular, but they didn't have it. I figure I like sausage, I like maple syrup, maple cereals, etc. I've probably had both sausage and maple syrup at breakfast, though I don't use the regular syrup, or put either onto the sausage. Made 2 of these so far and they are disgusting. Slimy, sweet, sugary, ugh. I really don't get the sweet and meat connection and why they have to stick fruits or honey or sugar in with meat (lamb and mint jelly, wtf? Even cranberry sauce on turkey is weird). I may toss the rest, since I see no way to rescue them.

Have you tried maple bacon? I love that.
Don't know if I'd like maple sausage, but I'd try it.

Haha re "approximately 4 patties" by the way. It seems like if it's only 4, they should know the number.

Isn't the defining characteristic of a sausage its cylindrical shape? If it is shaped like a patty, is it still a sausage?
