Aside from problems the "metoo" movement already had, the author is pro ostracization and apparently pro having what's essentially a lifelong grudge, to be expressed as excommunication in perpetuity. That's certainly not something to be admired. In my opinion there's nothing at all moral about that sort of attitude, those sorts of stances.

The #MeToo was just damage control for the revelation that the most powerful old style movie executive in Hollywood who was presented as a democratic champion of women was in fact a serial abuser of women who raped and assaulted and used threats, and was so confident in his security from media scrutiny and the legal system that he could have assistants line up his victims.
This is the big story, and it hasnt been addressed. Why did the media protect Harvey Weinstein? They wont ask the question because it reveals the media is totally and hopelessly corrupt. The only hope is a change of ownership, preferably as far from Hollywood and New York as possible.
