I was wondering whether they actually sent a crew to Moscow to film the current season, since some of the exterior shots did appear to have been filmed in Europe.
But it looks like at least some interior scenes were shot in Budapest. I stayed in the hotel they used for their "Moscow" hotel when I visited Budapest a few years back.
