Saw this on the Mets-Cardinals broadcast last night and it baffled me.
Who hit the most home runs ever in Busch Memorial Stadium (aka "Busch Stadium II") in St. Louis, which closed after the 2005 season? Hint - it's neither of the first two guys you'd assume it would have been.

Assuming it's not Pujols or McGwire. Probably Edmonds, but Ray Lankford played a ton of games in Busch II and he had some pop.

Just thinking of a power hitter who played a lot in Busch II. Edmonds probably hit more homers, but his best year were in Anaheim. Weren't they?

Edmonds probably hit more homers, but his best year were in Anaheim. Weren't they? Edmonds spent 7 years with Anaheim, 8 with the Cards. His Angels career line: 709 games, 2,951 PA, .290/.359/.498, 161 2B, 121 HR, 408 RBI, 464 R, 274 BB His Cardinals career line: 1,105 games, 4,356 PA, .285/.393/.555, 234 2B, 241 HR, 713 RBI, 690 R, 646 BB Injuries, shitty teams, call it what you will, but he become a much better hitter when he joined the Cardinals in his age-30 season. Oh, Lankford was the correct answer! You're a trivia star, my friend.

I was thinking someone like Pendleton. Or worse yet, an opponent like Andre Dawson or Dale Murphy.

Heh heh heh, I said "Busch". Heh heh
