Vernuf makes a bunch of claims about me and when I ask him to back them up...he vanishes. I watch asmr videos, something that I've admitted to literally dozens of times. I had to go and read what 'asmr' is about. I see. "pedophilia" huh, strong accusation. So because you like these asmr videos and you're subscribed to channels on youtube of women who are younger than you are you're a 'pedophile'? How does that make sense? (Thank you for the explanation/overview, by the way) There's more to the story than what I've said. Several have tried claiming that asmr is sexual and the videos I watch are of underage girls. But nobody could back that claim. It's not really worth getting into further. You know the basics. It's all very stupid. |

Well, firstly, please do try not to divide people into certain boxes like that - liberals/something else etc. Common sense tells me that a man who accuses others of serious crimes without evidence, clearly lacks perspective and inability to tell what is real and what is not. A person who wants to divide people instead of trying to unite them frightens me. Building walls and undermining free speech come to mind as examples. A person of high power who belittles others of things they are doing while he himself the next day is ´guilty´ of the same thing, makes me nauseous. A person who shifts his opinions and thoughts faster than the wind frightens me because the definition of that is unstable. Someone who throws twitter tantrums on a daily basis located in the white house frightens me. Agreed, Jillian. Additionally, MSNBC reported a poll signed by over 20,000 professional psychologists and psychiatrists that they had a 'duty to warn' that overrode their ethical vow to not diagnose someone without having seen that person in their office and keeping that information private. These professionals stated that by observing Trump's ongoing public behavior, they had concluded that he is a paranoid psychopathic narcissist, and as such, is mentally unfit to be the President.
I guess the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI was not allowed to comment since they work for the government.
Trump sickens me, too, and has made our country of freedom and equality for all, our democracy, a laughingstock to the rest of the world. Hopefully, our system of checks and balances will prevent him from doing anything that erodes the Constitution beyond repair, or starts a nuclear war that would kill the planet.

So you dont adhere to a particular set of beliefs? Science is the ultimate authority, there is no God, there is no afterlife, there is no such thing as sin, etc. etc. I must be imagining all of that. Correct, atheism doesn't mean you adhere to any particular set of beliefs. And you are imagining most of that. Atheism does not say there is no god, or there is no afterlife, and it might depend on what you mean by sin. Some atheists do say there is no god, but that is not a requirement to be an atheist. So yes, you have a misunderstanding.
And science isn't an ultimate authority and doesn't pretend to be. It is simply the best method for determining how reality works. It is a method for testing and confirming evidence to support or disprove models of reality.
Believing there is no God is a requirement of Atheism.
